about Teamworks
Teamworks was established in 1989 and its first office was in my home with two chairs bought from Suite Comfort in Caerphilly..... Since these early days, the business has grown organically; I have never advertised, work has always come via word-of-mouth and recommendation. Teamworks now encompasses a base in Cardiff and a history of long standing services to numerous organisations. I am very committed to the work I do and the businesses I collaborate with.
The bulk of our work is organisationally focused, whether counselling, training or consultancy. Care of employees is paramount and we help organisations deliver this duty of care ~ by taking care of your workforce health you are taking care of your business health.

Teamworks brings a human aspect to the business world.... In my other life I am a mum to four boys (now almost men!), so I have first hand experience of stress management and work-life balance! Or at times imbalance!

about Mary Gavin
I qualified in Psychology and Social Work (1980 and 1983) in my native Northern Ireland and since moving to Wales in 1987 have qualified in group work, mediation and trauma counselling (TFCBT and EMDR). I have worked as a supervisor since 1990 and trained both with Hawkins & Shoet and Proctor & Inskipp.
My core competencies are brief therapy, post trauma therapy and group work. This background and training mean I offer a unique blend of interpersonal skills and intersystem perspectives.
